Indian forces have stormed the last of the terrorist hideouts
Indian soldiers stormed the last militant hideouts to end the bloody siege that has killed around 140 people in several coordinated terror attacks.
Reports claimed the Indian special forces were dropped by helicopter onto the roof of Mumbai’s Jewish centre where the militants are holding out.
Gangs of heavily armed gunmen attacked two luxury hotels, a hospital, a popular restaurant and a railway station.
Foreign targets, especially British and US citizens, were singled out by the terrorists.
Many international firms have cancelled travel and closed offices.
Commenting on the attacks the British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said: ‘Today's attacks in Mumbai which have claimed many innocent victims remind us, yet again, of the threat we face from violent extremists.’
