The risk management salary survey forms part of StrategicRISK’s Asia Risk Report, an annual benchmark study providing risk and insurance managers with comparative data and additional material to allow them to benchmark their roles, internal risk function, risk priorities and salaries with others in the profession.

More than 160 Asia-Pacific-based risk and insurance professionals took part in the online survey during September and October 2014. The initiative was sponsored by Zurich Insurance.

The survey also uncovered the region’s top risks. These are (from 1-10): economic conditions in key economies; people risk, talent and retention; damage to company reputation/ brand; international competition; tightening and changing regulation; political risk; price of materials/commodities; loss of customer/critical data; cyber attack; and pandemic.
