StrategicRISK’s Forum and Awards will offer international risk expertise before a gala dinner awards evening
The Asia-Pacific risk management community will get two critical events in a single day as StrategicRISK’s forum and awards head to Singapore.
StrategicRISK’s third annual Asia-Pacific Risk Forum and inaugural Risk Management Awards will take place at the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore on 17 May 2017.
An array of international risk specialists will be sharing their expertise at the forum.
The stellar speaker lineup boasts an immense spread of risk knowledge, including the LEGO Group’s Hans Læssøe on ‘The Future of Risk’ and Telstra’s chief risk officer Kate Hughes on ‘Risk Strategy’.
The event is expected to be even bigger than last year when 200 senior risk managers from the region attended, with more than 100 already registered for the 2017 edition.
After the daytime forum, the StrategicRISK Asia-Pacific Risk Management Awards will then be held in the evening, the first time the awards have been run in this part of the world.
The awards are currently being independently and rigorously judged by a panel of risk experts from around the world. The awards shortlist will be announced next month, having been drawn up from more than 100 entries across 17 award categories.
“This year we’re excited to be bringing an international perspective to the Asian risk management community at our annual forum,” StrategicRISK Asia-Pacific editor Jessica Reid said. “Our stellar line-up of speakers, including chief risk officers from Australia and the UK, will explore the challenges and opportunities of moving risk from an operational to strategic tool, analysing how risk management can be used to deliver better decisions, save money, improve spending and drive innovation.”
