Company restructure sees new regional managing director for Dual Asia

The current managing director of Dual Singapore, Mark Spadaccini, is soon to become head of Dual Asia, with responsibility for both the Hong Kong and Singapore offices.

Hyperion-owned Dual International has also announced that the current general manager of Dual Hong Kong, Philip Chiu, will be replaced by a founder of Dual’s Hong Kong business, Jodie Chung.

Spadaccini, who has been with Dual for five years, said that he was delighted to be asked to lead Dual Asia “into its next chapter”. “Our specialist business, in conjunction with MSIG’s unique distribution platform, continues to develop strongly, with close to 2,000 policyholders,” he said.

“With further expansion into Asia’s exciting emerging markets, we are ready to build on the strong foundations we have laid as we seek to become the leading specialist underwriting agency in the region.”

Prior to his time at Dual, Spadaccini was an underwriter at Vero and IAG, and an account executive at Aon Risk Solutions.
