New and intangible risks require different risk management approaches. With transformative business models at play, risk managers need to continually adapt and equip themselves to stay relevant and ahead of the game. This conference will challenge risk managers to embrace new perspectives when looking at risk, managing risks and developing themselves. The topics will be centred around three sub- themes: 1) Redefining the risk landscape, 2) Redefining the risk management approach, and 3) Redefining the risk profession – reflecting the conference theme “Redefining Risk”.
One of the key highlights of the PARIMA Malaysia 2019 conference will be the launch of the Risk Competency Assessment, which complements the Risk Competency FrameworkTM. The project is one of PARIMA’s initiatives to continually help the profession to have a set of competencies that risk managers should acquire to ensure success in their chosen field.
