The event on 7-10 November will see a comeback of the association’s in-person Conference in Singapore and a series of #GoLocal2022 sessions

The Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) is bringing a different twist to the PARIMA Conference – Resilience Week 2022 happening on 7-10 November.

This year, it will be leveraging on both digital and physical platforms, which will see a comeback of the association’s in-person Conference in Singapore and a series of #GoLocal2022 sessions focusing on selected local markets.

The pandemic, its domino effect on digitalisation, the increasing intensity & frequency of natural disasters attributed to climate change and their impacts on businesses globally have put a spotlight on how interrelated risks are.

This has triggered an increased awakening on how corporations, societies and governments should work together in solidarity to become more resilient against risks.

Hence, this year’s theme is ‘Collective Resilience’, with the intent to promote mutual exchange of knowledge and collaborative action in the risk community as we continue to adapt to this ever changing environment.

“After two years deep in the pandemic, we are proud to welcome everyone back to our flagship in person Conference at Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore on 10 November 2022,” Parima announced.

”This will feature sessions on Climate Change, Geo-politics, State of the Market, Parametric Insurance, Cyber Risks, Mental Wellness, Employee Benefits Financing, Captive Insurance and Mega Trends among many others, led by senior risk professionals, industry leaders, and experts.”

Some of the topics include D&O Insurance, People Risks, Climate Change, and more. Sessions will be held via an interactive online platform, with sessions open to both risk professionals and the market.
