StrategicRISK’s inaugural annual conference in APAC to bring together region’s top risk professionals

StrategicRISKwill host its inaugural annual Asian conference in Singapore on July 10.

The Strategic Risk Forum 2014 is a free, invitation-only event for CROs, CFOs, corporate insurance managers and corporate treasurers responsible for risk management and insurance procurement for Asia’s largest corporations. Corporate brokers can also apply for a free invitation to attend.

Themed ‘The path to better risk management in Asia’, the forum will feature risk professionals and specialist brokers exploring current and emerging trends in key risks affecting companies today. There will be a focus on the practical steps companies can take to identify, assess, manage and mitigate these risks.

Topics of discussion will include developing a truly practical cyber risk management programme; learning lessons from real and recent nat cat events; managing the risks of operating across international borders; coping with regulatory change; and identifying and managing people risk.

Some of the many confirmed speakers are Microsoft’s chief security officer in Asia Pierre Noel, vice-president of finance and purchasing at Shangri-La International Hotel Management Parikshit Sen Gupta, senior manager in group risk management at the Chemical Company of Malaysia Hafsah Zainudin, and head of ERM at Ascendas Irene Lye.

In addition to keynote presentations, peer-led debates and networking sessions, a dedicated meeting hub will be available for attendees to engage in private bilateral meetings. StrategicRISK’s dedicated online diary will assist attendees to meet before, during and after the event.
