Companies join 20 others that have partnered with Parima since 2013
Belfor Asia, Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC) and Liberty International Underwriters are the latest companies to partner with the Pan-Asia Risk & Insurance Management Association (Parima).
The three companies join 20 others that have partnered with Parima since it was formed in 2013 to strengthen the risk profession in Asia.
Together, partners work together with Parima to create platforms and opportunities for risk managers to develop their skills and capabilities.
Parima chairman Franck Baron said the new companies would allow for “more diversity within the organisation, touching different aspects of risks and [exposing] broader issues”.
“It also presents future collaborations for educational opportunities. We are currently working together bringing these opportunities to life,” he added.
Commenting on the new partnership, Belfor Asia chief executive Brian Whitmore said: “As a service provider in the disaster recovery field, we are constantly searching for opportunities to further develop our knowledge of the trends, and understanding of the concerns and needs of the business community.
“We hope that through our partnership with Parima, we will have the opportunity to interact and share our knowledge and expertise in disaster recovery with risk management professionals in the region.”
